Lee's young life shattered when he learned of his illegitimate birth and cut down the rope used by his newly revealed biological father to commit suicide. Spurred on by his spiritual conversion and his mother's rejection by the Christian community, Lee studied for the ministry in a desire to extend God's grace and encouragement to others. After surmounting several academic and denominational obstacles, he finally achieved an active ministry in the church and higher Christian education.
