Based on the proposed automated ROI method, this dissertation established a database of normal ranges of FDG standard uptake value (SUV) in major organ tissues of normal mice. A method of reducing data variability between mice by renormalizing the SUVs was presented. An SUV mean image as well as its standard deviation image of the normal mice group was also created.
