As pointed out on page 163 of the Metric Bulletin, the most important thing to be done this winter is to institute a series of popular lectures. ... A thousand lectures during the coming month would reach a very small fraction of the people who want to have the subject explained. ... Every teacher at all interested must have this little publication, to get any idea of the present state of the reform. ... A cordial invitation is extended by the executive board to all interested, to join in the work.
