While stationed in India, Carew, a young British officer, stole a priceless emerald from a temple in the mountains north of Kathmandu. Though dismissed from his regiment and sent back home, he prospers. In later years, Lord Carew repents of his theft and hires a professional adventurer named Wildman to return the jewel to its rightful owners. Unfortunately, the gang of thugees who originally stalked Lord Carew are still on the scene and Wildman faces daunting odds in his trek across the Indian subcontinent. Along the way he meet with both a legendary woman bandit and a beautiful young Australian woman.The three walked fast and when the waterfront came into view, their guide led them into a narrow lane between towering tenement ... Above them three neon light bars flickered for a moment and then came on, filling a big concrete-floored shed with light and revealing to Wildman and Pasang two vehicles. One was a black, metal cab Jeep and the other a big, four-wheel drive International Scout Traveller.
