The dissertation demonstrates that general norms on juridical acts and dolus from the 1917 Code are essential for the understanding of the impact of dolus on juridical acts in the 1983 Code. Then, it defines notions such as juridical act, dolus and rescissory action which are necessary for the understanding of the impact of dolus on juridical acts. It indicates that the rescission of an act placed out of dolus is an act of judicial power and that when such an act causes damage to the deceived party the damage is to be repaired according to canon 128 of the 1983 Code.H.
